Linda Collier

As a ballet dancer Linda always had a profound interest in Pilates, however when injuries caused her to stop ballet, she wanted to maintain the body and fitness level. Pilates became her passion and she has never looked back over the past 20 years. Linda received her certification in New York by Romana Kryzanowska of Romana's Pilates who studied under Joseph Pilates himself and in 1997 became a certified Pilates instructor. Her instruction consists of 600 hours and continuous education classes over the years.
Linda opened a studio in Rhode Island before relocating to FL and reestablished Balanced Fitness in 2004. She has continually taught numerous clients in the art of Pilates whether it be for injuries, body awareness, weight loss or just to feel better. Clientele range from young dancers to tennis players to senior citizens. Linda is an international Latin and Standard ballroom dancer, ballerina, studies yoga and is certified in Gyrotonic. Her Mantra is "A body in motion stays in motion, If you don't use it you lose it."
